Please note that I am not currently taking on new psychotherapy clients. I am only working with current and returning clients. I do have room for new people in my coaching practice. Those who are seeking psychotherapy with me may wish to find a different therapist or consider whether coaching with me would be an appropriate option. I am happy to talk with you about that.
I offer psychotherapy to adults who want support addressing:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Attention deficit disorder
- High sensitivity
- Creative blocks
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Other obstacles to living authentically and effectively
Why Use Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy provides a safe space where you can slow down and be deeply witnessed and fully heard.
This is important because ours is a fast-paced culture where you can feel compelled to rush through each experience. You might have to endure changes, losses, injustices, or other traumatic events, without fully integrating them. This can make you feel cut off from yourself— anxious, depressed, angry, or ill without knowing why.
Psychotherapy can heal this disconnection. When you feel deeply listened to, you are better able to listen closely and with compassion to your own thoughts and feelings. You also begin to connect more authentically with others and with the world around you.
My Approach
My goal is to assist you in creating a more fullfilling life. To that end, I offer respectful attention and a spirit of collaboration. I also teach you practical strategies you can use for the rest of your life.
Techniques I Use Include:
- Therapeutic writing and art processes
- Mind/body awareness
- Guided imagery
- Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT™)
