October 26, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm PDT
FreeEvent Navigation
Carolyn will be sharing essays, poems, illustrations and songs from her new book, Clearing Clutter as a Sacred Act.
When clearing your clutter becomes overwhelming, it helps to approach it with a mix of reverence and playful exploration. Carolyn is your gentle guide in this warm and accessible gathering of original essays, poems, practical actions, writing prompts, and illustrations. She invites you to honor the transitions you’ve traveled while gently helping you access the inner resources and clarity you need to move forward.
Please note that although the event is sponsored by Village Books the author event will be held in the Inn at Lynden in the Waples Room. Both the Inn and Village Books are in the Waples Building and the book signing afterwards will be at Village Books. The Inn has a better space for author events.
In our stressful, stuff-filled world, Carolyn Koehnline’s inspiring and wise book arrives as a breath of sanity. Helping us to reflect on our relationship with both inner and outer clutter, she guides us to let go of what no longer serves our souls. Illustrations, journal prompts, and reflections are beautifully spaced and paced to create a sense of calm and ease. I loved this book.
